This study attempts to contribute to theory and practice by examining the role of travel motive, perceived service quality, tourist satisfaction and revisit intention in the context of health and wellness tourism. The study relies on primary data collected from international tourists travelling for health and wellness reasons in Phuket, Thailand. Data was collected using convenience sampling and a self-administered approach. The findings indicated that the relationships of travel motive with perceived quality of service and satisfaction were positive and significant. Furthermore, the results revealed that perceived quality of service and satisfaction to tourist loyalty were also positive and significant. The additional analysis also provided for testing the mediating effect of perceived quality of service and satisfaction on the relationship between travel motive and revisit intention.en_US
